About Pack 167
Pack 167 has been in existence for 25 years, serving the youth of the Gananda School District with a wholesome environment that enables boys to develop those traits that will help them become upstanding citizens. Pack 167's roots go back the summer of 1989, at which time Pack 166 in Macedon had grown quite large and a decision was made to split into two Packs. Pack 167 started with 65 Scouts, and in some years grew to over 100 Scouts! Currently, Pack 167 consists of 60 Scouts.
Pack 167 is a part of the Seneca District in the Seneca Waterways Council. This District covers the eastern half of Wayne and Ontario counties, while the Council covers Monroe, Wayne, Ontario, Seneca, and Yates Counties. We are chartered through the Drumlin Lodge #1180 of the Free and Accepted Masons.

Tom Kastner’s den built the Pack’s original Pinewood Derby track for the 1992 Derby. It was unique in that it had bumps (hills) in the third section. It was both loved and hated, and was finally replaced by our current track in 2002; the electronics and software were upgraded in 2011.
Our 'crossing over bridge' has changed over the years, with the current bridge having been completly redesigned and built by Dan Bogel in 2006.
Pack 167 loves to camp! Each year, we organize two family camp outings, and many others for the older boys! We also send boys to Cub Resident Camp every August for 3 days and 2 nights of Cub Scout camping fun! In fact, we have been going to Cub Resident Camp for so many years that many of the camp's staff are former Pack 167 leaders!
Pack 167 is very active in community service. Each Scouting year, we participate in two food drives (one in the fall and the other in the spring) as well as a springtime neighborhood clean-up where Pack 167 joins forces with other Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts to pick up trash alongside Gananda streets and school properties.
